study/assignment update:
4 assignment hand-ups and 5 exams looming in the next 4-ish weeks. i say ish, because one of our project hand-ups has to be done at a meeting/interview with our lecturer some time [pretty much of our choosing] between the 14th and 24th may and i haven't yet decided which date to go for.
i'd much rather get it handed up and over and done with, but given that i haven't really started working on it yet - and am unlikely to between now and the start - or end - of the exams, i should probably leave myself a bit of time to actually do the project [an asp/database/shopping cart jobbie].
with exams ending on the 12th, i'll probably pick somewhere in the middle - the 19th or something - that would give me about a week to do it. loadsa time!
and that would mean that in 29 days i'll be TOTALLY FINISHED COLLEGE [again]!
hurray [again]!
[link]ah! what a lovely easter weekend.
we had our second annual good friday champagne breakfast party. i had my first swim of the year. i planted a clematis. and i even got a [small] bit of project work done.
thanks to ceara for taking the swimming pics.
yes, it was cold. very cold [though a couple of glasses of champagne sparkling wine helped]. but it felt wonderful!
i'm literally just in the door from cork.
dee's play was great. or rather all four plays were great. i'm not one for theater, so four short plays suited me better. though it was hard to know when to clap.
i got up at the crack of dawn to get the train back with eileen who had to work today, so am v tired. a nap may be in order. though i'll probably wake up as the day continues.
[link]oh my! will someone please explain how it got to be the 6th of april!
i'm on easter holidays - the last holidays before exams and loads of project deadlines - the holidays that suck.
no matter what i do, i can't enjoy myself. it's not exactly fun to i study/work and it's no fun at all to skive off coz that guilty feeling is just painful.
and i'd know coz i'm skiving off to cork tomorrow to go see my sister's final year project - a play - much more interesting to see than a dissertation on the life cycle of a sea louse.
